important - but....

There is very little in English on Arabic Alchemy and this particular publication is often referred to. Unfortunately, most of the book is not in English, and thus hard for the monolingual.
Contents are as follows:
1-113 being the three texts by ibn Umail in Arabic.
117-43: Stapleton and Hidayat Husain on ibn Umail's life and role in alchemical history.
145-97: The latin translation of a text by ibn Umail (Senior de chemia) from vol. V of the Theatrum chemicum, with footnotes, in English, on its relationship to the Arabic Text.
199-213 various indexes.
You are still unlikely to find much on ibn Umail that is better than the essay between 117-43 and the price of the original will set you back a lot more than this and hence Kessinger are to be thanked for publishing it. But most non Arabic readers will not get much else out of this
